Note to self: don't buy a HUD home again unless you absolutely find the best deal on the planet. Red tape out the wazoo. Seriously.
So, we were supposed to close yesterday. Then it was moved to tomorrow. Now it's not for another week. I'm bursting at the seams to get into this new house and get going on making it a home! I saw a piece on the news the other day about a woman who started her own staging business. She said that she was inspired by her own mom who, every time the family moved to a new home in a new country (father was a foreign corespondent), had the new place looking and feeling like home within a couple of weeks. That's how I want this house to be...not just a house, but a home. My itching fingers will just have to wait a little bit longer though. :)
